- I've forgotten my password. What do I do?
You will need to call technical support for assistance. It would speed up the process of updating your details if you have your membership number available. If you do not have your membership number available then, contact our Customer Service on 01992 822 863. They will ask a few questions as a security check and tell you what your membership number is.
- I need to change my password, what are the minimum requirements?
To safeguard your email we have a set minimum requirements for password length and complexity.
If your password is shorter than 12 letters it must contain at least six characters which are a mixture of UPPER and lower case, numbers and symbols.
If your password is longer than 12 letters it needs to contain a mixture of both UPPER and lower case, and either numbers or symbols.

- Can I read my e-mail when I am abroad?
You can access your e-mail from overseas in one of two ways:
Using another ISP You will need to tell the software you are using where to fetch your e-mail from. Using any e-mail program (POP3 mail client) you will need to set the mail server details (found in Preferences, Options or Settings) to pop.which.net and your username to the first half of your e-mail address before the @ symbol. Your password is the same password you use when you log on.
The alternative is to use the webmail system. This will leave your email on the servers, this function will allow you to send and recieve emails. These can then be retrieved in the usual manner on your return.
- What is the maximum message size that can be sent or received on my which.net mail address?
The maximum message size you can send or receive using our system is 40MB per message. Allowing for headers and body text this means you can send or receive an attachment with an e-mail of approximately 35Mb in size (excluding the webmail system that is limited to 2M. Your which.net mailbox is a total of 150Mb in size and once this limit has been reached it will reject further messages until you have picked up the messages held on the mail server.
- Can I increase the size of my personal web space?
Subscribers to the full Which? Onine service receive 10Mb of personal web space. This can be increased at the discretion of Which? Online. E-mail email@example.com to request an increase.
- How do I set up multiple e-mail addresses?
Subscribers to the full Which? Online service can set up four additional e-mail addresses.

- How do I access my personal web space?
When you register as a full Which? Online subscriber you are provided with 5Mb of web space. You can 'see' this space by entering http://homepages.which.net/~your.username in the url address box on your browser.
